Bio
Dr. Amit Sandhu is an urologist at Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan-Kaleran in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) district in Punjab, near Ludhiana and Phagwara.
He specializes in endourology (including stone surgeries), andrology, and uro-oncology.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Amit Sandhu worked as a urology consultant at Sarvodya Hospital in Jalandhar between 2018 – 2019. He served as Assistant Professor of Urology at Government Medical College (GMC), Amritsar between 2019 to 2020. He has also been a urology consultant with Livasa Hospital since 2023.
Dr. Amit Sandhu completed a fellowship in urology through the International Surgical Training Programme (ISTP) at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, United Kingdom (UK), between 2020 to 2022. There, he studied Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) and laparoscopic urological procedures.
His education began with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) in Wardha, Maharashtra in 2010.
He went on to complete his Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery at Government Medical College in Patiala, Punjab in 2014. His MS degree included a residency at GMC Patiala between 2011 to 2014.
Beyond his MS degree, he completed a Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) in Urology at Sardar Patel (SP) Medical College in Bikaner, Rajasthan in 2018.

- Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) to remove kidney stones
- Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor (TURBT)
